On loan attacker Hadi Sacko has confirmed he is set to remain at Leeds United beyond the current season – and fans on Twitter are delighted.
The 23-year-old moved to Elland Road on a season-long loan from Sporting Lisbon last summer, but the Championship club have recently pushed to acquire him on a more permanent basis.
But their bid to extend his stay in Yorkshire appears to have been successful, after Sacko revealed on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday that he was ‘very excited’ to be staying at the club.
He said: “Looks like we’re gonna have some more moments together guys. Very excited to stay there and help as much as I can.”

There has yet been any official confirmation from Leeds, but Sacko’s Twitter post to fans suggests that a deal for him to return may already be set in stone.
However, fans have already taken Sacko’s message in good faith, and have moved to welcome the attacker back to the club.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Portuguese news outlet the Record had reported on Sunday that Leeds had triggered a £1.5million clause in Sacko’s contract that would allow him to move to Elland Road on a permanent deal this summer.
Sacko was a valuable squad player last term as Leeds finished seventh in the Championship, with the attacker contributing two goals and four assists from 42 appearances in all competitions during his initial loan spell.
