Joel Robles has raved about the qualities of reported Everton target Sandro Ramirez and believes he would be welcomed at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have been linked continuously with Malaga forward and the IBTimes previously reported that the 21-year-old had agreed terms to move to Goodison Park after manager Ronald Koeman was spotted scouting him.

However, Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo report that he will snub interest from Everton to complete a move to Atletico Madrid if their FIFA transfer embargo is lifted.

Robles has described Sandro as a “great striker” and feels he has progressed hugely this season, but it seems like Everton might miss out on the talented youngster.

“I still follow La Liga closely and [Sandro] is a great striker,” Robles told IBTimes. “Anyone who comes to improve the team would be welcome.

“ But I know nothing [about his potential signing], I know that recently there were some pictures of Koeman watching a Malaga game but I do not know anything else.”

He added: “He came from the Barcelona youth ranks and he has progressed a lot this season. He has done really well at Malaga, he is a scorer but [whether we should sign] is a question for the club. It’s not up to me to decide that.”

Sandro is a former Barcelona product, but completed a move to Malaga this season to experience regular first team football.

The Spaniard has made 31 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 16 goals and supplying five assists.

He is being tipped for a move this summer and his form in La Liga this season has shown why he can make the step up.
