Liverpool are favourites to land Arsenal winger and England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the latest betting odds.
Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced the 23-year-old at odds of 8/11 to make a switch to Anfield from the Emirates in the summer.
The Telegraph reported on Tuesday morning that the Reds are set to spend over £100million in the summer and Oxlade-Chamberlain is a player they admire.
Jurgen Klopp’s side recently claimed a top-four spot in the Premier League table at the expense of Arsene Wenger’s side, who finished outside of the Champions League places for the first time during his tenure.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a bit-part player at Arsenal for a number of seasons as he has struggled to find the regular game time a player of his qualities would crave.
He played 29 league matches this season, scoring two goals and supplying two assists as Wenger utilised him in a wing-back role when he changed formation in April.
The Southampton academy product has one-year left on his current deal as speculation will continue to mount over his future in the summer.
Nonetheless, Manchester City are outsiders to land Oxlade-Chamberlain as they are priced at 12/1, while punters could fetch the same price for the Premier League champions Chelsea.
Those two teams are followed by West Ham (16/1), Manchester United (16/1) and a possible move to Liverpool’s neighbours, Everton at 20/1.
