Luke Shaw is expecting to discover if he has a future at Manchester United on Wednesday evening after their Europa League final with Ajax, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper claims that sources close to the left-back feel if the Red Devils win the Europa League against Ajax then Jose Mourinho will want to bring in a new experienced player for his position.

The 21-year-old has played a bit part role since the appointment of Mourinho in the summer and the Portuguese has even publicly criticised his form, fitness and lifestyle this season.

However, that still hasn’t stopped potential buyers and the Mirror details that Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City are chasing his services.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team could be looking for a new left-back this summer after Danny Rose’s long-term injury, which has seen Welshman Ben Davies earn an extended run in the team.

Additionally, Pochettino previously worked with Shaw when the two were at Southampton together and he was the Argentine’s first choice full-back.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has had to field James Milner in an unnatural left-back position throughout the current campaign due to the defensive uncertainty of Alberto Moreno and the German is almost definitely going to be looking for a new addition for the role this summer.

Shaw was once one of England’s brightest prospects and became the most expensive teenager ever back in 2014 when moving to Manchester United for a fee of £30million.

However, after having just played 11 times in the Premier League this season alongside his deal at Old Trafford set to expire next summer he could find that his time in Manchester is coming to a premature end.
