Rangers have offered eight players out to English clubs as manager Pedro Caixinha plans to revamp his squad this summer, according to the Daily Record.

The newspaper has claimed that the Portuguese manager is looking to overhaul the squad he inherited from former boss Mark Warburton in March.

It is detailed that last summer’s signings Josh Windass, Matt Crooks and Joe Garner are on the list, while academy graduate Barrie McKay, Martyn Waghorn, James Tavernier, Harry Forrester and Rob Kiernan have all been placed on the transfer market.

It is stated that former bright prospect McKay is the most expensive name on the list with the Gers valuing him at £2million.

Meanwhile, full-back Tavernier is the only other player to have been priced at a seven-figure fee with his price set at £1.25million.

Waghorn, who has a year remaining on his contract at the club is valued at £400,000, while fellow striker Garner, who joined for £1.8million last summer is said to be available at a “reduced rate” after just seven league goals in his debut campaign.

Both Windass and Crooks joined Rangers on a free transfer from League Two side Accrington last year and it is detailed that the Glasgow giants will allow them to leave at £150,000 each with Crooks having just spent the second half of the year on loan at Scunthorpe.

Defender Kiernan and attacker Forrester are both said to be available for free after having failed to impress Caixinha since he joined the club.

The experienced manager will now also be looking to add players to improve Rangers’ third placing and it is stated the Ibrox side are “making good progress” with several of their targets.
