Burnley could be prepared to sell Tottenham target Andre Gray in the summer, according to a report.

The Mail claim that the Clarets could sell the 25-year-old attacker as his deal has just one year remaining, despite rejecting a £15million offer from West Ham in January.

It is understood that Burnley are yet to make him a new offer and are not willing to increase his current £30,000-a-week wages.

The report details that the Englishman has grown frustrated at being benched recently and Sean Dyche’s side could now cash in on the forward, with discussions between the player and club set to take place in the summer.

The Mail reported in April that Spurs are prepared to step up their interest in Gray as they look to bolster their frontline for next season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have Harry Kane as their main attacking option, but it is believed they want a strong back-up option after Vincent Janssen’s disappointing first season in English football.

Meanwhile, Gray has been in great form at Turf Moor this campaign and has played a major role in keeping Burnley in the Premier League.

The striker has enjoyed a meteoric rise from non-league football to reach the top flight and is now proving his goalscoring traits at the top level.

He has made 34 appearances so far this season across all competitions and scored 10 goals in return.

Spurs will need the extra attacking options next year to compete in both Europe and domestically, meaning Gray could be tempted by a move to White Hart Lane.
