Outspoken football pundit Stan Collymore has predicted Celtic to pick up a comfortable victory in their cup final clash against Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.

The two Scottish giants are currently preparing to face each other at Hampden Park in the 3.00pm kick off.

The pair were the two highest ranked sides in the Premiership this season with Celtic taking the top spot, while Aberdeen trailed behind in second.

However, there was also a massive 30 points separating the teams with Brendan Rodgers’ outfit completing the 38-match season unbeaten.

This has led to Collymore predicting a simple win for the Hoops later in the afternoon and via his personal Twitter account he suggested a 2-0 victory for the Bhoys.

Celtic are currently on course for a domestic treble after winning both the League title and the League Cup already this campaign.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen will be looking for their first piece of silverware since winning the League Cup against Inverness back in 2014.

Celtic have already faced the Dons five times in all competitions this season, achieving wins in all five matches, scoring 12 goals while conceding just twice and they will be hoping for a similar outcome on Saturday to bring the Scottish season to a close.
