Everton and West Ham have made enquiries over bringing RB Leipzig striker Davie Selke to the Premier League, according to German outlet Kicker.

The report claims both Premier League sides have made approaches for the out-of-favour forward, despite making only two starts for the ambitious Bundesliga outfit throughout the 2016-17 season.

It is believed that the Premier League duo’s domestic rival Swansea City have scouted the 22-year-old ace, while Bundesliga side Werder Bremen are also said to be interested in Selke.

This comes after Kicker report that Selke’s agent, Akeem Adewunmi, travelled to the United Kingdom to talk to clubs as his client’s future looks to be up for debate with the summer transfer window fast approaching.

Known for his aerial ability and strength in the final third, Selke also possesses an abundance of pace and is as equally adept at finding the back of the net if given the chance.

Selke made 21 appearances in all competitions this season, coming on as a substitute 19 times and found the back of the net on four separate occasions against Hamburg, Werder Bremen and a brace against Hertha Berlin.

The 11-time Germany Under-21 international, who has scored seven times in those national team caps, moved to Leipzig in the summer of 2015 for a fee believed to be just under £7million from Bremen.

Now, he could be set to return to Bremen, unless Everton, West Ham or even Swansea come calling for Selke’s services.
