Alexis Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich has travelled to Germany to open contract negotiations with Bayern Munich, according to Chilean media outlet El Murcurio.

The report claims the Bavarian giants are ready to offer £50million and a contract worth £11million-a-season in an attempt to prise the Chilean away from the Emirates.

It is said current Bayern star Arturo Vidal could play a key role in the negotiations, as he and Sanchez share the same agent.

This comes after the Daily Star previously reported Bayern were ready to offer the player a “massive” deal in order to persuade him to leave the North London club.

The 28-year-old’s contract enters its final year this summer, so Arsenal may be keen to cash-in on him while they can.

Sanchez has been in prolific form this season and has scored 29 goals in 50 league and cup appearances, as well as providing 19 assists.

However he has saved his best form for the Premier League, scoring 24 goals in 36 games, breaking the 20-league goal barrier for the first time in an Arsenal shirt.

The report also claims Pep Guardiola is also keen on bringing the 28-year-old to Manchester City this summer, though the German side are leading the race for his signature as Arsene Wenger would prefer not to sell him to an English club.
