Leading bookmaker Sky Bet have priced Jurgen Klopp’s side at odds of 8/13 to sign the 23-year-old before September 3, with Newcastle next in the betting list at 12/1.
Scotland international Roberston, who has one-year left on his current deal at the KCOM stadium, recently suffered relegation with his side.
