Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to reveal his immense pride after Ronaldo Vieira signed a new Leeds contract.

The 18-year-old put pen-to-paper for a new four-year on Wednesday to commit himself to the Yorkshire club until the summer of 2021.

Radrizzani has also had a busy week as it was announced on Tuesday that he took full control of Leeds after he purchased the rest of the club from the controversial Massimo Cellino.

The Italian businessman, 42, is understandably pleased to see Vieira agree to fresh terms at Elland Road after becoming a crucial part of Garry Monk’s first team plans this season.

“Congratulations Ronaldo Vieira. We are very proud of you. Four more years together,” said Radrizzani on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday.

Vieira made his first-team debut for Leeds in the final fixture of last season against Preston and hasn’t looked back since.

The teenage sensation made 38 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring one goal and supplying one assist as the Whites almost finished in the Championship play-off spots.

His first goal for Leeds proved to be a pivotal one as it was a last minute winner in the 3-2 away win at Norwich back in November.

The central-midfielder, who can play in either an attacking or defensive role, was also rewarded for his fine form with a maiden international call-up this month after he was included in the England Under-20 squad for the 2017 Toulon Tournament.
