Serie A champions Juventus have joined the race to acquire the services of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail report that Juventus are willing to pay the North London side £14million for the 27-year-old Poland international.

The report claims that Szczesny is being tempted by the chance to play with Juventus legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and potentially become Juventus’ number one choice in the next couple of years.

It’s also reported that Serie A club Napoli are willing to offer £12million for the Polish international.

However, The Mail claims that Arsenal will only listen to offers starting from £17.5million.

This story follows up from the report in the Italian outlet IL Mattino who claimed West Ham are also interested in bringing the Polish goalkeeper to the London Stadium this season.

IL Mattino also claimed that the Pole had agreed personal terms with Napoli and he was on the verge of signing a three-year deal at the club.

Szczesny’s future at the Emirates Stadium looks very uncertain with goalkeepers Petr Cech and David Ospina starring for the Gunners this season.

The Polish goalkeeper has been one of the star performers in Serie A this season, playing in every single league match and keeping a total of 14 clean sheets – no other goalkeeper achieved more shutouts than him.

Szczesny has seen his all-round game improve since playing in the Italian top flight for two consecutive seasons.
