Yannick Bolasie has told Everton fans on Monday that an update on his recovery from a serious knee injury is imminent.
The 28-year-old likes to keep supporters updated on his efforts to return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury and has posted to tell them that he is currently talking a break from his rehabilitation.
Bolasie only moved to Goodison Park last summer but was struck with a huge setback in December when he was forced off in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
In his latest post on his personal Twitter account, the 31-times DR Congo international told supporters that they are still on his mind despite taking some time off after undergoing surgery.
“Guys I’m currently away enjoying a break with the family. On my return I will update you on my ACL and rehab series. Stay tuned. I haven’t forgot you,” he said on Monday.

Bolasie played just 15 times in all competitions for Everton before his injury, scoring one goal and supplying four assists as he struck up a brilliant partnership with striker Romelu Lukaku.
The winger moved to Merseyside from Crystal Palace last summer for £25million after making his final appearance for the Eagles in the Premier League opener against West Brom, who were then the team he played for a week later in his Toffees debut.
Ronald Koeman’s side went on to finish seventh in the league and secured Europa League football for next season without Bolasie in the side.
