Chelsea are favourites to sign Andrea Belotti.
According to a report in The Daily Star the fact that Chelsea can offer guaranteed Champions League football gives them an edge over Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho could lose out on the striker as his side attempts to reach the elite tourney through winning the Europa League while his old club have already secured a Champions League spot and are within touching distance of claiming the Premier League title.
Antonio Conte has still to be convinced that Romelu Lukaku can handle playing at the top level but with 25 goals from 30 Serie A appearances for a mid-table side the Chelsea boss has no worries over the quality of Belotti.
Torino got the 23-year-old onto a new contract before Christmas but the £85m buy out clause now appears to offer decent value for the buyer with Belotti the top scorer in Italy and certain to quit Torino in the summer.
