Tottenham fans have ripped into Chelsea midfield anchor N’Golo Kante on Twitter during his display against Arsenal in Saturday’s FA Cup final.
The 26-year-old made the switch to the Blues last summer in a £32million move from then champions Leicester.
He has generally been considered a brilliant piece of business for the London club and in April he was named the PFA Player of the Year.
However, he was unable to prevent his side from falling to a defeat against the Gunners with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey ruling out a Diego Costa effort.
Now, Tottenham fans would have preferred to see Chelsea lift the cup despite not liking either side, but that didn’t stop Spurs fans on social media from blasting Kante as “overrated.”
Many stated that they felt that their own player Victor Wanyama was better than the Frenchman and didn’t get the credit he deserved after having what they felt was a better season.

Like Kante, Victor Wanyama joined Tottenham in the summer in an £11million deal from south coast club Southampton.
He starred in 47 matches for the club in all competitions this season and helped Spurs push Chelsea for the title with seven points the difference between the two London clubs.
