Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has dealt Arsenal a major blow by claiming he wants to stay at his club until his contract runs out.

Allegri, 49, has guided Juventus to a league and cup double this season, by winning Serie A and the Coppa Italia, and he could make it a treble if they can beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final next Saturday.

The manager is under contract with the Turin club until 2018 and he has claimed he will not be making any decisions about his future until then.

Speaking to the Mirror, he said: “As for my contract, at the right time the club will decide, they’ll call me because at the end of the day I have a contract until 2018.

“So, as I’ve repeated 1500 billion times: I have a contract until 2018, the club can call me or not call me. After that we’ll see.”

The Italian’s comments will come as a massive blow to Arsenal as he had been touted by the Daily Express to take over at the Emirates when Arsene Wenger eventually leaves.

By winning the league this term, Juventus claimed on their sixth successive Scudetto title, and they have now won three Coppa Italia’s on the bounce as well.

Allegri replaced Antonio Conte as boss at the Juventus Stadium in July 2014, after previously managing Cagliari, Sassuolo and AC Milan, where he won the 2010/11 Serie A title.

Arsenal could win their third FA Cup in four years on Saturday if they can beat Chelsea in the final at Wembley.

However they will miss out on Champions League football next term after finishing fifth in the Premier League table.
