Arsenal are set to send Krystian Bielik out on loan for a second successive season, according to ESPN FC.

The report from the football website claims the 19-year-old defender is interesting a number of Championship clubs after being told he can leave, following his loan spell with Birmingham City during the second half of the 2016-17 campaign.

ESPN state that Nottingham Forest, Norwich City and Derby County are all keen to sign the Poland Under-19 international on a temporary basis.

The centre-back has made just two senior appearances for the Gunners throughout his career, playing three minutes of Arsenal’s comfortable 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup earlier this season.

Since joining the Blues on January 31, Bielik made 10 Championship appearances for the Blues and was crucial to Harry Redknapp’s side that survived relegation.

The Arsenal youngster even featured from the substitutes’ bench against Bristol City in the last Championship fixture of the season, which saw the Blues earn a 1-0 away win to remain in the second tier of English football.

Bielik has been with Arsene Wenger’s side since the summer of 2015, as he moved to the Emirates Stadium from Polish giants Legia Warsaw for a fee believed to be around £2.4million.

With a contract until the summer of 2020, a loan seems to be the most likely option for Bielik as he looks to impress Wenger of any future Arsenal manager while on loan from the club.
