Leeds should consider a move for Leicester midfielder Harvey Barnes in the summer transfer window, who will be playing alongside Ronaldo Vieira for England’s Under-20s.

Whites first teamer Vieira, 18, was called up to the England youth side for the prestigious Toulon Tournament and the Yorkshire giants will be hoping their youngster can perform.

However, manager Garry Monk should look to keep a close eye on Foxes teenager Barnes as he would be a smart addition in the summer.

Barnes is a highly rated star at the King Power Stadium, but Leeds should attempt to make a loan move for him ahead of next season.

The 19-year-old spent the second half of this season on loan impressing at League One club MK Dons, where he scored six goals and supplied one assist in 21 appearances.

He is a central midfielder by trade, but has shown his versatility by playing on both wings during this time at MK Dons.

Leeds would benefit hugely from bringing in some extra midfield additions in the summer as they look to go finally achieve promotion back to the Premier League.

The Whites looked a strong outfit under Garry Monk during his first season in charge and a few more additions should see them really challenging for promotion.

One criticism of the Leeds squad was their options in the wide area and that is certainly something that could be helped by Barnes.

The Leicester youngster should also be keen on a switch to Elland Road to test himself at a higher level in the Championship, while working with a manager in Monk that is keen to promote youth.
