Leeds have confirmed that Andrea Radrizzani has completed a full takeover of the club – and fans on Twitter are thrilled.
The Championship side announced on their official website on Tuesday afternoon that Radrizzani had successfully acquired the remaining 50 per cent of the club to oust previous owner Massimo Cellino from his position at Elland Road.
Radrizzani had initially arrived at the Yorkshire-based outfit in January, but had only achieved a 50 per cent stake in the ownership of the club.
However, it has now been revealed that the Italian businessman has taken full control of Leeds, ending the turbulent reign of his fellow countryman, Cellino.
Leeds fans have since come out in force to share their delight at the departure of Cellino from the club on social media, but they remain concerned that the future of manager Garry Monk has not yet been resolved.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

But there has though, been good news on the Monk front, as a report from Sky Sports claims that Leeds are set to exercise an option to extend his current deal by a further 12 months.
Monk, 38, is out of contract at the end of the season, and the lack of negotiations had left Leeds fans fearing the worst over his future.
However, with Radrizzani’s takeover completed, the Leeds chief is likely to make his first act as the club’s outright owner by tying the much-loved head coach down to a new contract.
