West Ham are considering a move for Santiago Arias.
According to a report on talkSPORT the PSV Eindhoven full-back is wanted by Slaven Bilic as he prepares a major overhaul of his side in the close season.
The Columbian is in his third season as a regular in the PSV side and has also attracted interest from Bayer Leverkusen and Swansea.
With two years left on his contract he won’t be leaving in a bargain deal but filling in the full-back positions is a priority for Bilic who looks like missing out on Glen Johnston who looks like staying on at Stoke City.
The ups and downs of West Ham’s season has led to speculation over Bilic’s future but the feeling within the club is that after two seasons in charge the Croatian is the best man to drive the club forward.
Major funds are expected to be available to Bilic to establish West Ham in the top half of the table.
