Real get serious about de Gea bid

|

Real Madrid are set to make a world record bid for David de Gea.

According to a report in The Sun the Spanish giants are lining up a £60m bid for the Manchester United keeper who’ll get a salary to match his status as the world’s most expensive goalkeeper.

Only a last gasp fax problem prevented Real from signing the keeper in 2015 but this time around the Spanish side are determined to land their man with plenty of time to spare.

United paid Atletico £19m for de Gea in 2011, after a difficult start to life at Old Trafford he has developed into one of the best in Europe with Real regularly linked with a move to take him back to the Spanish capital.

Jose Mourinho will do everything to prevent a sale but bringing in £60m to add to his transfer kitty will be more important than retaining an unhappy player.
