Manchester United turn striker hunt to Mexico

|

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Hirving Lozano.

According to a report in the Daily Mail the Mexican international striker has expressed a preference for Old Trafford after being heavily linked with a move last summer.

Lozano has scored 10 times in 25 appearances this season for Pachuca and has impressed for the national side as they progress towards next year’s World Cup Finals in Russia.

United’s world wide reputation is even stronger in Mexico where Javier Hernandez is a national icon with every move watched closely putting United into every living room.

With a question mark over whether Zlatan Ibrahimovic will stay on at Old Trafford and with Wayne Rooney certain to depart United will be in the market for strikers.

While Jose Mourinho will bring in a top class striker to go straight into the team moving for a lesser name with potential is also important for the club’s future plans.
