Manchester City turn their attention to Spurs stars

|

Pep Guardiola has gone public on his interest in Spurs stars Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Deli Alli.

According to a report in the Manchester Evening News the players were mentioned as the Manchester City boss was highlighting the benefits of recruiting locally produced players.

All of the biggest clubs in Europe are keeping tabs on Alli but City may get some encouragement in their interest for the two full-backs.

Guardiola is expected to completely reshape the City defence with only John Stones likely to survive.

City have been linked with a number of full-back’s but it’s believed that Walker, and Rose in particular, are the priorities for Guardiola.

Spurs are in no rush to sell off any of their players but could be tempted if they receive a bid in the region of £50m for Rose with Manchester United’s Luke Shaw a potential replacement.

Guardiola is expected to spend the best part of £200m in the summer with the clear expectation to deliver success both in Europe and in the Premier League.
