Liverpool are set to step up their interest in Joe Hart.
According to a report in the Metro, Jurgen Klopp has given the go-ahead for the club to make a £20m bid for the Manchester City keeper who is currently on loan at Torino.
Hart and the Italian side have indicated a willingness to stay on for another season at Serie A but with Torino unable to compete with the terms on offer in England it seems certain that the keeper will be back in the Premier League next season.
Liverpool have been riddled with goalkeeping problems since Pepe Reina left the club with Hart viewed as the perfect solution to that issue.
Manchester City were reluctant to sell Hart to another English club but it’s unlikely that they’ll get the £20m asking price from a continental club able to match the keeper’s wages.
Arsenal and West Ham have also been linked with Hart whose keen to get his future sorted ahead of a World Cup season.
