Everton are keeping a close eye on Troy Deeney’s situation at Watford.

According to a report in the Daily Mail Ronald Koeman will make a move if the rift between the player and the club widens.

Deeney wasn’t happy at being left out of the staring XI for Saturday’s defeat at Spurs and was even more unhappy when Walter Mazzarri  explained that the decision was due to the players physical condition.

The 28-year-old was angered by that comment and was later told to respect the managers decision.

Deeney has survived through numerous changes in manager since joining Watford in 2010 but doesn’t want to be taken for granted at Vicarage Road.

With the future of Romelu Lukaku up in the air Everton would love to bring in a time served striker capable of settling quickly into their side.

Deeney has scored six Premier League goals since the turn of the year and could be tempted to move on if his relationship with Mazzarabi doesn’t improve.
