Chelsea are set to bid for Alex Meret.
According to as report in Metro Antonio Conte is preparing a £6m offer for the Udinese keeper.
Meret is currently out on loan at with Serie B side SPAL and playing a key role in their bid for promotion.
Udinese will recall the 20-year-old at the end of the season but will find it hard to resist the offer of a £6m profit for the keeper.
Conte has expensive contacts across the Italian game who have alerted him to the progress that Meret is making.
Chelsea are likely to be looking for a new keeper in the summer with Asmir Begovic certain to move on and speculation over the future of Thibaut Courtois who has still to commit himself to the club beyond 2019.
Meret would jump at a lucrative move to London and the chance to work with the other keepers under the guidance of Conte.
