Napoli are ready to open talks to sign Wojciech Szczesny.
According to a report on talkSPORT the on loan Arsenal keeper has made a big impression on Napoli during his stint with AS Roma.
Szczesny has been an ever present in the Roma goal over the last two seasons after heading to Seria A following Arsenal’s decision to sign Petr Cech.
Arsenal are expected to be back in the market for a keeper during the close season but a return to The Emirates for the 27-year-old Pole hasn’t been discussed despite being at Arsenal since 2008.
Roma are expected to put in an offer to convert the loan deal into a permanent move but won’t have things all their own way with Napoli interested.
Szczesny is under contract with Arsenal until June 2018, with neither party interested in renewing that deal a summer move is on the cards with two Italian sides leading the way.
