Monaco have put a £52m price tag on star midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
According to a report on talkSPORT the French side have issued that price in a bid to scare off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
Bakayoko has been in outstanding form this season as Monaco challenge Paris St Germain for the French title and impress in the Champions League.
Monaco have become one of the most proficient clubs in the game when it comes to selling players highlighted by Anthony Martial’s transfer to Manchester United.
With English clubs now enjoying even more money from television rights the stakes have been raised even further.
Scouts have been out in force at Monaco games throughout the season with Bakayoko one of the top targets.
The 22-year-old is in his second season at the club and looks certain to be on his way in the summer with Monaco hoping that an auction breaks out for the midfielder.
