AC Milan line up Sturridge deal

|

Daniel Sturridge is an end of season transfer target for AC Milan.

According to a report on talkSPORT the Italian giants are looking to snap up the striker as part of a major spending plan bankrolled by the clubs new Chinese based investors.

Sturridge has cut a sullen figure at Anfield this season on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

Despite that demotion the 27-year-old is still highly thought across the game with Milan believing that his style of play is ideally suited to the Italian game.

With Klopp looking to bring in new faces the sale of Sturridge could bring in £30m and free up one of the top wages on the payroll.

Sturridge’s career has stalled after hitting the heights in his first two seasons after being taken to Anfield by Brendan Rodgers.

In recent seasons Ashley Cole and Joe Hart have moved to Italy with Sturridge bound to be interested at the prospect of playing for one of the great names in European football.
