Everton have been linked with a move for Seko Fofana.

According to a report in the Liverpool Post the Udinese midfielder has caught the attention of Ronald Koeman and chief scout Steve Walsh.

Fofana was on the books of Manchester City but spent his time out on loan before moving to Italy last summer.

The 21-year-old has a great pedigree as a French youth internationalist with his box to box running for Udinese making him a fixture in the side, scoring five times in 21 appearances so far this season.

Koeman is desperate to overhaul his squad with a new look midfield a priority. During the January transfer window a number of players left Goodison with only Morgan Schneiderlin coming in.

Bringing in younger, hungry talent is Koeman’s aim with Fofana fitting that profile.

Udinese paid Manchester City £3.8m in the summer for the midfielder and would be looking for £20m from Everton if they want to take Fofana back to England.
