Ronald Koeman is continuing to watch Gylfi Sigurdsson.
According to a report in the Liverpool Echo the Swansea forward remains one of Ronald Koeman’s top signing targets.
Swansea rejected a £28m bid for the Icelander last summer with his fate almost certain to be linked with Swansea’s Premier League future.
Relegation would almost certainly result in the sale of the club’s most valuable asset but staying up would complicate the chances of a move to Goodison.
Sigurdsson is believed to have formed a close bond with Paul Clement and would be in no rush to move on after an unhappy spell with Spurs.
With bags of Premier League and international experience Koeman would love to bring the 27-year-old to Goodison Park as part of his plan to push Everton into the top four.
Despite Swansea’s struggles Sigurdsson has still managed to score eight goals in 28 Premier League appearances with his club rating him in the £35m bracket.
