Crystal Palace are believed to have struck a deal to sign Lionel Carole.
According to talkSPORT the Beskitas defender will be on his way to Selhurst Park in a £3m deal as soon as the transfer window opens.
Carole is in his second season with the Turkish side and has impressed at left-back with his solid defensive displays after stepping up from French second division side Troyes.
Sam Allardyce had a frustrating time in the January transfer window and is making tentative plans for the summer based on Palace staying up.
At £3m Carole is a safe signing after some of last summer’s deals which created a rift among the squad as the high earners benefited from the new television deal at the expense of the established players who had secured survival.
Despite being just 25-years-of-age Carole has vast experience including a spell at Benfica after starting his career with Nantes.
