Manchester City have stolen a march on Arsenal in the race for Sead Kolasinac.
According to a report on talkSPORT the players’ agent has met up with Pep Guardiola to talk terms over one of this summer’s most in-demand Bosman deals.
Kolasinac has been in impressive form with Schalke who have had no worries about playing the 23-year-old even though his contract finishes in June.
Guardiola is expected to make wholesale changes to his side in the summer with defenders a priority.
Finding a partner to play alongside John Stones is a priority with scouting reports highlighting Kolasinac who was known to Guardiola from his time in charge of Bayern Munich.
City will be able to match or better any offer made to the defender but will have to convince Kolasinac that he won’t be left on the sidelines if he decides to switch to the Etihad and put his career in Guardiola’s hands.
