Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has his heart set on a move to Manchester.

According to a report in The Mirror the midfielder has become disillusioned by the failure of the club to hold meaningful contract talks.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is under contract until June 2018 but hasn’t been contacted about extending that deal with the club’s focus all on Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Manchester United and Manchester City have both been linked with the Ox in the past and are likely to put in bids during the summer.

Despite spending six years at Arsenal Oxlade-Chamberlain will only be 24 in the summer and feels that a change of club will revive his career.

With the World Cup at the end of next season he is keen to get his future settled quickly and make an impact away from The Emirates.

This season the Ox has started 11 of Arsenal’s 26 Premier League matches and appeared as a substitute in a further 11 games.
