Arsenal try again for Sidibe

|

Arsenal are set to revive their interest in Djibril Sidibe.

According to a report in The Metro the Monaco full-back will be the subject of a bid from the Gunners.

Monaco are bracing themselves for an avalanche of bids in the summer with their young stars catching the eye during their run to the last eight of the Champions League.

Sidibe can play at right-back or left-back with his reputation rising as Monaco challenge for the French title and cause a stir in Europe.

Despite the uncertainty over the future of Arsene Wenger Arsenal are pushing on with transfer plans with the full-back positions needing addressed.

Monaco would be looking for £30m for Sidibe but in the current market that would be money well spent on a 24-year-old with good Champions League experience.

Arsenal won’t get it all their own way with Chelsea and Bayern Munich also impressed by Sidibe who is under contract until 2021.
