Tony Pulis has revealed that it will be more of the same for West Brom when the summer transfer window opens.

Jake Livermore’s £10m arrival from Hull City was the only permanent deal completed during January despite the club being well clear of the relegation battle.

In an interview with the Birmingham Mail, Pulis revealed that he’s looking at small steps forward and good characters.

Despite the flood of television money coming into the club the Baggies boss has no intention of blowing a fortune on a big name and disrupting the harmony in the dressing room.

With a strong British core to the squad Pulis happy with the momentum that the club has developed after years being branded a a yo-yo team.

Those days appear to be over but as he looks around at the mess other clubs are in the West Brom boss will stick to his winning formula rather than try to hog the headlines.
