Manchester United are lining up a summer move for Bernardo Silva.

According to a report in The Sun Jose Mourinho has been impressed by the form of the Monaco winger as he looks to add genuine width to United’s attacking options.

If successful in the move Silva’s arrival would almost certainly led to the exit of Anthony Martial.

Silva is under contract with Monaco until 2020 with the French side rating him in the £70m bracket.

Mourinho has been promised big money to spend in the summer to go for the Premier League title and hopefully compete in the Champions League.

Silva joined Monaco in a £13.4m deal from Benfica in 2014 and has a wealth of experience for a 22-year-old.

As well as being given big money to spend in the summer Mourinho is expected to sell off six or seven players with Martial, a £36m signing under Louis van Gaal, expected to be one of the first departures.
