Brentford reject West Ham’s £10m striker bid

West Ham have had a £10m bid for Scott Hogan rejected by Brentford.

According to a report on Sky Sports the Championship side are hoping to get £15m for the striker with the bid from West Ham instantly turned down.

Hogan has 18 months left on his Griffin Park deal and is expected to move on after netting 14 goals so far.

Brentford are resigned to losing their top scorer but with reports of interest from Newcastle and RB Leipzig they aren’t going to accept the first offer on the table.

Jermain Defoe is West Ham’s number one target but with Sunderland involved in the relegation fight it might not be until the final day of the transfer window that a deal can be completed.

Slaven Bilic has been given money to spend this month with a regular scorer at the top of his wish list whether that is Defoe, Hogan or someone else.
