Klopp linked with move for Arsenal man

|

Liverpool are set to revive their interest in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

According to a report on TalkSPORT German newspaper Bild claims that Jurgen Klopp is back in for the Arsenal man.

The Ox is in the long list of Arsenal players out of contract in June 2018 but there’s been little signs of progress towards a new contract.

In December Klopp claimed not to be interested in the 23-year-old but with his increasing role as super-sub at The Emirates the England man will be in no rush to sign a new deal.

Arsenal paid Southampton £12m for the midfielder in 2011 but despite various impressive spells the Ox has largely failed to deliver on his teenage promise.

Klopp could offer the Ox a fresh start with the charisma and enthusiasm of the manager one of the main attractions of a move to Anfield.

Arsenal are likely to be looking for £30m for the midfielder but that figure could be halved in the summer as he enters the last year of his contract.
