Rodriguez keeps Chelsea and Manchester United waiting

|

James Rodriguez has denied that he is looking for a move to England.

According to a report in The Express both Manchester United and Chelsea are waiting for word to to put in a bid for the Columbian striker.

Real Madrid paid Monaco £60m for Rodriguez following the 2014 World Cup but the goals have hardly flown in since he moved to the Spanish capital.

With Real’s policy of regularly changing the menu it was thought that the player and club would reach an agreement to move on.

The amount of money now flowing through English football means that the Premier League is one of the few places that could afford a transfer fee and matching wages.

Chelsea and Manchester United would jump at the chance to bring Rodriguez to England but so far they are still waiting for encouragement from the Champions League holders.

This season the Coumbian internationalist has only scored two goals for Real.
