Anthony Martial is keen to get out on loan from Manchester United despite Jose Mourinho turning down a loan offer from Sevilla.

According to a report in The Sun the players agent is hopeful of getting the Frenchman out of Old Trafford when the transfer window opens.

If United give the green light for Martial to go out on loan there will be no shortage of takers with clubs in Spain, Italy and Germany admiring the 21-year-old.

Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley said: “We are studying the Sevilla option in detail.

Sevilla are a very good club, are in a good position in La Liga, play in the Champions League and have a great coach. That’s all I can tell you.”

Like almost all of Louis van Gaal’s signings Martial appears to be surplus to requirements under the new regime despite costing £37m just 16 months ago.

Monaco also negotiated a number of bonus payments with United left to decide whether it’s best to sell the striker or keep him at Old Trafford knowing that further success will result in more pay outs to Monaco.

So far the Martial has only started in seven Premier League matches.
