Manchester United will take a third look at Matthew Knox next week.

According to a report in The Sun a deal could be done for just £150,000 for the impressive teenager.

Knox made his first team debut a year ago at the age of 16 and made seven top team appearances last season.

That prompted interest from Rangers who had the midfielder in training for a week but their £75,000 bid was instantly rejected.

Knox recently signed a new contract for Livingston but that mainly done to ensure that the club will get a fee when he moves on.

Arsenal ans Nottingham Forest have also made enquiries but after agreeing to a third training stint Knox seems destined to finally get his move to the Premier League giants.

United are keem to restablish their academy at the forefront of the game with the club directors well aware that other clubs, especially Manchester City have ovetaken them in recent years.
