Real Madrid are back on the trail of Thibaut Courtois.
According to a report in The Metro the Spanish giants have already began discussions to bring the keeper to the Bernabeu.
Courtois is under contract at Chelsea until June 2019 but the Premier League leaders are anxious to get him onto a new deal in line with the signings that Antonio Conte has lined up.
Chelsea are still in the driving seat regarding the contract but will grow concerned if the 24-year-old doesn’t sign up to a new deal in the net 12 months.
Courtois made his reputation during three seasons at Atletico Madrid before Chelsea brought him back to London with the promise that he would replace Petr Cech.
Despite settling at Chelsea the keeper has never hidden his admiration for the lifestyle that he enjoyed in Madrid which has kept Real on his trail in the hope of persuading Chelsea to come to a deal.
