Aston Villa are planning a daring £10m raid on Norwich City to sign Robbie Brady.
According to a report in The Sun Steve Bruce is to be given big money during the January transfer window and is keen to be re-united with Brady.
The two men worked together at Hull City with Bruce looking to strengthen his squad in order to put together a serious promotion push in the new year.
The report claims that Villa could offer Brady a £50,000/week pay deal which would make him one of the highest paid players in the Championship.
Brady was a £7m signing for Norwich in the summer of 2015 but suffered relegation for the second season running as the Canaries went down under Alex Neil.
Norwich are on a disastrous run down the Premier League table with speculation over the future of Neil.
With a bid coming in from Villa Norwich will have to decide whether to take the money and reinvest in the team or turn the offer down and try to keep Brady happy on his current terms.
