Jurgen Klopp won’t let any of his squad go out on loan in January.
According to a report in The Mirror the Liverpool boss has rejected the prospect of Daniel Sturridge joining West Ham on a January loan deal.
Mamadou Sakho is the only player that Klopp will allow to leave as he attempts to push on with a challenge for the Premier League title.
Sturridge has cut an unhappy figure in recent months as he falls down the pecking order at Anfield despite being a key player for England.
That situation has prompted interest from West Ham and Southampton about a January loan deal but that door seems to have closed.
With Sadio Mane on African Nations Cup duty next month and injury concerns over a number of other attacking options Klopp won’t entertain Sturridge going out on loan elsewhere.
The 27-year-old has only started four matches in the Premier League this season with his only club goals coming in the EFL Cup.
