City let Hart go- but preferably not to an English club

|

Joe Hart is free to leave Manchester City for £10m but that fee will be doubled if he goes to an English club.

According to a report in The Sun there is no way back to the Etihad for the England keeper who is currently on loan at Torino.

Claudio Bravo’s unconvincing performances gave rise to speculation that there may be a way back for Hart but the report knocks that suggestion on the head.

With wages of £120,000/week and two and a half years left on his contract Hart’s terms are outwith Torino’s budget.

City are aware of that with those factors reflected in the fee that they are looking for.

Liverpool’s continued goalkeeping problems has prompted speculation that Hart would provide an instant solution to that position.

City would be very reluctant to sell to another English club but with a long term contract Hart will have the final say in where his future lies.
