Enduring a slow start to life on loan at West Ham United, Simone Zaza’s father and agent Antonio has claimed he “can’t ensure” his son will remain at London Stadium in January, report Squawka.

Speaking to Calciomercato, Antonio Zaza revealed that the situation surrounding his son’s immediate future is far from straightforward at the minute.

Zaza senior said: “There are many situations to be analysed. I’ll be in London the day after tomorrow to meet my son and the club.

“It’s difficult to predict. I can’t ensure that he’s going to stay at the club until the end of the season, nor I can’t say that he’s definitely going to leave. We need to analyse the situation.”

While Zaza is currently on loan in East London, Slaven Bilic’s Hammers have an obligation to buy the Italian international if he plays a certain number of matches.

With the 25-year-old having failed to convince Hammers fans so far however, it remains to be seen whether Bilic will outcast him in light of January interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and Napoli.

Additionally, Michail Antonio has started recent games for West Ham United up top, adding fuel to the speculation that Zaza will seek a fresh start in the New Year.
