Having only joined West Ham United on Deadline Day, Slaven Bilic’s Hammers are already looking to part ways with Alvaro Arbeloa in the January transfer window, report The Sun.

The 33-year-old right back has only made one Premier League start in his Hammers spell but Slaven Bilic hasn’t been impressed by the experienced Spaniard who is now deemed surplus to requirements.

Enjoying more successful spells at both Liverpool and Real Madrid, Arbeloa’s quality just hasn’t carried over with the veteran full back having picked up a yellow card in the EFL Cup win over Accrington Stanley.

The Sun’s report carried a quote from a so-called West Ham United source who claimed: “It’s true that Arbeloa would be allowed to move on, if a club comes in for him.”

Slaven Bilic has experienced his fair share of difficulty in getting the best out of the right back position so far this term with both Sam Byram and Michail Antonio not really working out in the position either.

Elsewhere, the report claims fellow West Ham United flops Simone Zaza and Gokhan Tore could be set for an early London Stadium exit in January.
