Linked with the signature of Schalke full back Sead Kolasinac recently, West Ham United face fresh competition from West Bromwich Albion to land the 23-year-old, report Birmingham Mail.

The Bosnia Herzegovina international’s contract is up at Veltins Arena at the conclusion of the current campaign and this news has reportedly alerted the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea too.

Hammers fans may have been surprised about Slaven Bilic’s reported interest in Kolasinac given the fact that the club can call upon both Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku right now.

According to the report, Tony Pulis’ Baggies enquired about the availability of Kolasinac over the summer but were told that the full back wasn’t going anywhere.

Having only made four Bundesliga starts so far this season however, Baba Rahman is ahead of Kolasinac in the pecking order at left back and perhaps Schalke may be tempted to cash in on the Bosnian in the New Year.
