Stick to the same defensive formation / personnel where possible
Having previously been exposed in a 4-2-3-1 system so far, Slaven Bilic has switched to playing a 3-4-3 more recently with Edimilson Fernandes and Aaron Cresswell featuring as wing backs.
While the system worked to great effect against Chelsea in the EFL Cup, the Hammers were on the wrong end of a 2-0 defeat when utilising it against Everton on Sunday.
As we’ve seen with Chelsea so far this season, it takes players time to adjust to a new system and with the Blues’ squad now performing better in their own 3-4-3, we feel Bilic needs to stick with one system while choosing the same personnel on a week-to-week basis, injury permitting of course.
